Thank you to everyone who joined us in Boksburg and online for the 2026 BIG IFA Conference!

The energy over the two days was incredible, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Hearing so many delegates say the presentations were so impactful that they wished they had brought more of their colleagues along is a testament to the value of this community.

If there was one defining takeaway from our time together, it can be summed up in two phrases heard throughout the venue: independence does not equal isolation, and our strength lies in co-operation, not competition.

The future of the independent financial advisor relies heavily on our ability to create solid, trustworthy partnerships. By aligning with right-fit service providers and fellow advisors who support our businesses, we can scale our practices and expand our value proposition, all while fiercely retaining our independence.

Conference CPD update

We are pleased to confirm that the FPI has officially approved 6 CPD points for the conference.

While this is slightly less than we initially anticipated, it remains a highly valuable addition to any annual professional portfolio. We are currently preparing the attendance certificates and will email them next week.
